My next obsession: Chalk Board Paint

You know how crazy I am about Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
well I have also fallen for chalk board paint.
It’s quick
Easy
Fun!
Here are some easy ways to use Chalk Board paint…
First project…
the door from the garage to the mudroom.
The previous owners had painted in a green chalk board paint.
Two coats of the black chalk board paint and my kids’ art  ability and …voila!
The best part is that the messages and pictures will change.
Project no.2…
a silver plated tray someone gave me for Christmas one year.
It was spotted and very thin. The photo actually makes it look better than it is.
A few coats of the chalk board paint and I can proudly display it in my kitchen.
I can write messages on it, lists…the possibilities are endless.

I love it!!!

  1. Thank you AGAIN for visiting our Fall mantel. I truly appreciate your visits and kind notes! Hope you’re still enjoying your new chalkboards! 🙂

  2. Wow, it looks fabulous, Margaret! I love how you added it to the tray, too … great idea! And, thanks so mujch for your sweet note about my snippets of Fall. 🙂

  3. Just saw your feature on Table Top Tuesday! Funny, I just told my hubby YESTERDAY that I wanted to use chalkboard paint on the door leading to the garage; and your post showed up today on TTT. Yours looks great! I want to try it!

  4. I popped over from Happy-Go-Lucky and I’m so glad I did…I’m a chalkboard paint addict, as well! This week I discovered chalkboard cloth and made a table runner…a whole new world of possibilities now. I’m also a new follower…thanks for the inspiration!
