Keeping it simple: Cinnamon candles and pumpkins

It’s finally Autumn!

Time to add a touch of Fall to my kitchen…

I love my cinnamon candle, made it last year and it was perfect to bring back out this year.

I had a reader comment that they tried making one and that the candle melted through the cinnamon sticks and down to her tablecloth.

There are candles that only melt in the middle, that is the one I am using but if you are not sure you can always attach the cinnamon sticks around a glass container and place the candle inside. I also always use a plate to hold my candle. Give it a try…it’s an easy project and great for fall decor.

To add to the fall feeling I placed two ceramic pumpkins that I picked up at the grocery store for $1.50 each and a large pine cone from my garden inside my cloche.

The candle with the assorted lentils is also from last year. It is fun to recycle…and very cost-effective!

I am looking forward to a busy week of fall decorating and painting projects.

Hope you have a great week. Thanks for spending some time over here at Moving Forward.
